Worms, Worms, Worms

The Kea Worm Farm is up and running. We went to see how busy the worms have been.

There weren't many worms because they didn't have enough food. If there isn't much food, there aren't many worms.

So the teachers have been feeding the worms and Mrs O'Callaghan brought an icecream container of worms from her Worm Farm.

Now we will make a plan so the worms can get enough food, so they will poo, poo, poo and wee, wee, wee and we'll have lots of natural fertiliser for our Kea Garden.

Amelia helped Mrs Summerfield and children from Room 28 weed the garden.

Louis the gardener

Louis is about to feed the worms.
Hayden takes off the lid of the worm farm.

We watch them wriggle and wriggle
 away from the sunlight.
Lily adds more worms to the worm farm.

Sophie puts the lid on. Worms like it dark inside.
